Last Snow of The Season!

Tunnel View.... Too bad that big cloud is covering El Cap... Go figure

Half Dome
Half Dome and Sentinel Rock
Bridalveil Fall and the toe of El Cap.
Bridalveil. I really liked this shot. the colors were so pastel and relaxing and the light was just about right.
Sunset... El Portal
The Cathedral Spires
El Cap
I spent about 2 hours with my feet back and forth in the freezing water to get this shot. It started out with no visibility of Halfdome and heavy snow. Then changed to shifting clouds and then to a spotty sky and reflection. I liked them all.. Maybe I'm just too attached to the process.

Day before yesterday I went up to the valley in the "last snow storm of the season".
The day started out rough but turned out to be very nice and I was basically happy with the results... Its just too bad I cant control the light and cloud movement :)

Second run of poppies and Hyte Cove

Bridalveil Fall
My favorite spot overlooking the poppies. I went back to this spot a couple times and really enjoyed the view and feel of being this far above the road.... It was a pain to hike all the way up there with the gear..
More poppies

I went hiking with Daniel the other day to Hite Cove. Its a really steep canyon with a trail back into the cove. the flowers were beautiful. We didnt hike the whole thing but i think Kry and I are going to go back with some other friends and finish it off this week.

California Poppies

The California Poppies in the Merced River Canyon and blooming right now. It is one of the most amazing flower concentrations I've ever seen. The whole canyon seems to be on fire.
